I had the most amazing experience shooting a 2-hour vow renewal session for a couple celebrating their wedding anniversary here in Hawaii.
I met them at the gorgeous house they were staying at right on the beach in Kailua - talk about a dream setting for photos!
We started off with family photos before moving into the private ceremony, which was such a sweet and intimate moment to capture.
Of course, we had to get a group shot with everyone, and then we went on to capture all the various family groupings. It was such a heartwarming session and I feel so grateful to have been a part of it.
My favorite part of the whole day was after the ceremony when they did a recreation of their first dance, but this time with their whole family. It was the sweetest thing ever.
The whole experience really highlighted the importance of capturing these special moments in life.
Being able to freeze these memories in time through photography is such a gift, and I am always honored to be chosen to document these precious moments for families.
