Garett reached out to me with the sweetest idea - he wanted to surprise his girlfriend, Erica, with a proposal on the beautiful island of Maui. How romantic, right? He wanted everything to be perfect, so he asked me to help capture the moment and then do a photo session afterwards to document their excitement.
We decided on a beach in stunning Makena for the big moment, and it was absolutely magical. The secluded location, the crashing waves, the golden light - everything was just perfect. When Garett got down on one knee and popped the question.. and of course, Erica said yes! After the proposal, we spent some time capturing their joy and love in a gorgeous photo session against the backdrop of the Maui coastline.
It was such an honor to be a part of such a special moment in Garett and Erica's lives. Being able to freeze those precious moments in time is why I love what I do.
